Objective: Development of a mulch substrate for mushroom cultivation 

Summary:

The project has had several phases up to the final validation of the substrate.  

• Selection of the different raw materials for the manufacture of the substrate.  
• Initial screening at CTICH to select those with the best performance and discard the rest. 
• Commercial scale testing by CTICH of 3 mixtures compared to commercial substrates.  
• Trial in Commercial Facility with CTICH monitoring compared to commercial substrate
