Title: VERMICO. Seed Coater in trays

Objective: To obtain an alternative organic product to vermiculite with similar characteristics for covering seeds in trays.

Summary:

The project has had several phases up to the final validation of the coconut fibre product intended to cover the seed trays:  

• Selection of the different raw materials for the manufacture of the product.  
• Analysis of physical and chemical properties.  
• Germination, rooting and phytotoxicity tests on different crops. 
• Product validation.
• Ecocert approval of the product for use in organic farming.
